Is there a "taste" from your childhood that brings back fond memories?
A few days ago I made some potato candy.
So many memories came flooding back.
My Dad used to make this for us a a treat!
We weren't allowed to eat much candy, drink pop or chew gum and so when Dad made this is was SPECIAL!
My Dad is in heaven and I am sure that if there is candy... this is one of the choices! And divinity too!
I didn't have the recipe, but after having made this many times I knew what went in it. So I made it.
Yes, I ate all of it by myself!!! Soooo!!! LOL

Chicken fried steak....the way my dad makes it. No one makes it quite like him, and I relive my childhood when he makes it!
How neat that a candy can bring back such fond memories.
