Wednesday - Flood Victim Relief

The flood victims in the Chewey Community
Adair County, Oklahoma received financial assistant yesterday.

The Illinois River flooded at record heights just after Christmas.

Many lost everything they had.

David Wilson of the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference presented $20,000
and
Chief Bill John Baker presented $7,500
to the Chewey Community for flood relief.

These children, (and others) received toys
from Sandy of
SandysCapeCodOrig

Thank you Sandy for brightening these children's lives!
All they had were either washed away or were contaminated from the flood waters.

There were many appreciative parents and grandparents there.

Wishing you a warm and wonderful Wednesday!

I was so happy I could help in some small way. Very happy to see how much money was donated to help them all.
