Will you help me help the Vets?
Here
is how I became involved in this effort. There was a story in the
Tahlequah Daily Press by Grant Crawford. I recognized the man in the
photo as Bill Huber, Quartermaster of the VFW.
Fox 23 News in Tulsa interviewed Mr. Huber about the VFW building and the needed roof repairs. It touched me. Mr. Huber
is a Korean War Veteran, just as my Dad was. If my Dad were still alive
he would be three years older than Mr. Huber. So in honor of my Dad,
and with the help of friends we are hosting this fundraiser.
