Colleen so sorry to hear about your illness. I have a close friend who also has MS and was born with CP, so I know what you are going through. I try to help her as much as I can. Hope you have someone close who can help you also. You will be in my prayers and hoping will be feeling better.

I have Terry, Hubby, who helps me so much; I have to thank God for this.
The hardest part for me, is when I feel abilities slipping away. Most of the time they eventually come back (relapsing remitting) but I have to do a lot of self-talk so I don't panic. I am sure it makes it worse and it is so self focused. Hard not to do though. The last MRI showed more damage in the brain and spine so it was a big sign to make some changes.
I have changed my diet even, so New Meds, Vegan diet (since January,) trying to exercise, etc. but making all the changes are time consuming and exhausting. But it will be worth it if I can keep working, walking and keeping a normal life. So I have to just suck it up and do it :)

Colleen, prayers are on the way. Please believe me when I say I do understand and we are cheering you on. As Tony would say, wheelchairs are actually a blessing, when you do need them. That's a hard concept to get hold of, he understands, but he has used one for years now (he's a paraplegic) and considers them his passport to freedom. Hang in there! We are praying for medical advancements to improve your life and keep MS in check.
