Remembering & Monday - Twitter Tree© 1/11/21

 01/11/21 is the anniversary of my husband’s death  


Twenty years ago today Suicide took a precious gift. A loving husband who was my best friend. 


Suicide is a haunting hell for those left behind. I am thankful for God’s love that got me through it.  HIS eye was on this sparrow. 


 

 This is one of my favorite pictures of us. He put on a cousin’s tuxedo tails at a wedding. 




Never ask the survivor WHY. I assure you, as a wife who lost a precious gift from God, there is no answer. 


Never say to those left behind due to suicide “well, they went straight to hell”.


NOWHERE in the Bible does it say you go to hell for committing suicide. Nowhere! We have a loving and merciful God. I believe He knows their heart and welcomes them home.


Today as I travel the old road to the cemetery, I will choose and pray that my thoughts are only those of happy memories with my husband.

    Dear Jacki, my heart hurts for you.
    Its hard enough to lose a spouse of someone you love, but due to those circumstances, probably unbearable. But we have a great God and he will sustain you - even in grief.
