What an irritating adventure thus was today! Pinterest links freeze my phone. Can’t open the Pinterest links shared this way, because Etsy requires a newer version of iPhone for their latest app.
I do EVERYTHING from my phone. Gosh I’m in a bad mood now!
Everyone has been tweeted and pinned and almost all posted on BlueSky even though for your items to show up I have to do screenshots and post from my camera roll.
Just tried to post one of Roxanne's like normal. Nope, still not working right.
It's frustrating enough to have to do the work around for Etsy items on a PC. Can't imagine dealing with that on your phone, Jacki. Hope things are back to normal for the Twitter Tree. Etsy is so darn glitchy . . . seems to get worse.
Catherine, I appreciate you trying to FIX my links. Don't waste your time. I didn't go the extra mile to post the etsy link. It's fine --- on Pinterest you can click to the etsy link but that's a lot of trouble. Whatever postings I get - I appreciate.
Roxanne, if I was using my phone or iPad, the way you did it wouldn't have worked for me, either. I rarely add apps to my devices and def won't ever add an Etsy or Pinterest app. No problems using my PC.
Here is what I posted last Friday - it's actually very easy and, once you get the hang of it, takes about 15 secs (at least for me). And even easier if you know what folder you have the item stored in to begin with - you can download the item pic from there:
1. Each item was pinned to Pinterest. 2. Copied the item from Pinterest into a folder. 3. Copied and pasted the Etsy link and added to InLinkz. 4. Copied and pasted the Etsy description and added to InLinkz. 5. Uploaded the item photo from the folder and clicked "save."
The way things are going, these steps might be needed for the Tree.

Nope… I still have to do 1-10. I usually have already done them the night before but this week I set up tag way earlier.

Seems to be working again for now. Just takes forever to download the item pic from Etsy.
I posted this morning to Linknz from Pinterest, thanks to you Catherine and it worked.
Yeah, just save pictures to your computer and upload them there. The link will work.
This is why my phone kept freezing. This method doesn’t work for me to promote your items.
